The Hay Literary Festival
We will be at this year’s amazing Hay on Wye festival with three live events
First with Joe Boyd (uber music producer of everyone from the Pink Floyd to Nick Drake), Craig Sams (revolutionary food activist founder of Whole Earth) and Rosie Boycott countercultural journalist and founder of Spare Rib) - in conversation on the subject of 'Whatever happened to the Counterculture?'.
Second, we will be with influential 60s musician artist Vashti Bunyan, Mercury nominated singer Sam Lee and Joe Boyd again on the subject of the Power of Song - can Music still change the world?
Finally we will be presenting an evening dedicated to Bone Music - I'll be giving a talk on the underground culture of forbidden records made with x-rays in the Soviet union and the amazing Sam Lee singing and being recorded direct to x-ray.
